The Suite Life or The Boston Massacre

This story is brought to you by these sick Nike Dunks that I picked up on eBay. Go Browns!

Funny story: With Tom Brady's return, the cheapest tickets available were going for $90+ so I decided to wait for a good deal.  It was Friday and while scouring my eBay saved search for tickets, I noticed a recently posted auction starting at $60 with a Buy It Now price of $120 for 25-yard line Upper Bowl seats.  I immediately scooped them up and then started thinking about who I'd like to take.  An hour later, my buddy calls and says, "Hey, I have a ticket in my dad's suite for the Browns game and I know that you're going to all of them.  Would you like to go?"

"Uh..hell yeah!", I replied.  "I just picked up a couple of tickets to the game, but I should be able to unload them."  I claimed my tickets via TicketMaster, posted them on NFL Ticket Exchange for well below the average market price, and by Saturday morning I had sold the tickets for $180 with a net profit of $60!

I would have bought him his first beer, but this suite was laid out.

The food spread was on point with hot trays of gourmet Mac-n-Cheese...

...and a mouthwatering sub platter.

There were meats and cheeses and chips and dips.

I even spotted something called "Cocktail Spice" with a note that said "Here's to a great season [of drinking]!"

The view was great...
...and I fully intended on watching the game from here, but after the first play where New England did something good and the client/fan next to me cheered in my ear, I promptly said "f@$k this" and joined my friends at one of the high top tables to "enjoy" the slightly delayed game on a 75" flat screen while the action was happening in real time a couple hundred feet away.

Even though the outcome was less than spectacular, the suite experience as a whole was fantastic.  The Browns hospitality staff did a great job taking care of us and made sure everything was stocked and everything that was stocked was delicious and extremely satisfying.  I would do this again for the food alone.  The huge downside was that we had to share this amazing suite with a few Patriots fans and being a guest, I did everything I could to be as professional as possible.  If there is a next time, I hope we can fill the suite entirely of Browns fans so we can all have the same energy, whether that be misery or elation.

Stay tuned as we head back out on the road to Nashville!  I booked another Airbnb spot just outside of downtown Nashville and got a great deal.  If you're travelling, use this link, www.airbnb.com/c/vincec1302, to get $35 in travel credit (and hook me up, too!)

Although I'm driving down with a few friends, I'll probably end up taking an Uber or Lyft around for a few trips as well.  If you haven't already tried these services, use these promo codes to get a free ride:
